PLEASE NOTE - Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

WheresItApp is a revolutionary way to share content with your friends, converse with them in real time, share locations, directions to locations, real time events and much much more!

Every user is given their own map and set of pins, which are fully customizable; from the pins you place on the map to who is allowed to view/join your map, and subsequently see those pins.

The app will maintain your pins for you. Once you place a pin on the map, you can access it any time. From getting directions to it, to sending directions to it, to uploading images to it. In addition to this, any user you wish to allow to join your map can also see your pins, their associated images, and get directions to them as well.

Once a pin as been placed on the map, all you have to do to get directions is simply click "Go". From there you will be immediately launched into navigation mode which you can use to get wherever it is you need to go!

Or, you can help a friend out by sending directions to that pin of interest! This is great for helping your friends get to a location youre not even sure how you got to - it happens to the best of us.

Upload your images to your favorite social media outlets, and let your friends know not only whats up, but where to find it!

Coordinate with your friends for extremely efficient event planning.

See where your friends are in real time.

Quit sending those "hey, im here" messages when you get to your destination - users on your map will be able to see you pull up on the map. No more excuses to be left outside waiting for that 5 minutes while people "get ready"!

Privacy is number one.

At any given time, you may take your map out of real time mode. Once real time mode is disabled, your location is removed from the map, as well as all other users locations who are on the current map. You can only see other peoples locations if you agree to share yours. Period.

The Grid.

Once you have disabled real time mode, you can go completely dark, or "off the grid". Meaning the app stops the phone in its tracks from reporting its location to either the map, or the phone (via our app) and vice versa. Once off the grid, there are a few things to note.

Due to the fact that location services and their associated faculties are a HUGE drain on battery life; in this mode, you can comfortably interact with the static features of the map without worrying about draining precious battery life.

With our app, you will always know where you are.

Use the information feature to tell exactly whats going on in your current map situation. You can easily see who is on your map, check the security status and privacy settings, and if you are the owner of the map (the one we gave you when you installed our app!), there a few bonus features.

Map Administration

Take your power back. When you are on your own map, you can do a few cool things. From setting your maps public profile image, to customizing your maps level of security - by setting its visibility filter, or securing it with a mapcode - to setting a limit on the number of users who can join your map. With admin mode. The power is yours.
